What Is Plasma Energy?

Plasma energy devices such as Plexr and Plazmapen are used for skin rejuvenation, scar treatment and the treatment of certain skin lesions. These are non-surgical aesthetic procedures. However, correct patient selection is the most important factor determining treatment success. Plasma energy ionises gases in the atmosphere, creating a controlled micro-burn in the upper layer of the skin. It acts with minimal damage to surrounding tissues. This makes the healing process faster and allows the skin to tighten and renew itself. Successful results are achieved particularly for dermatological concerns such as drooping eyelids (blepharoplasty), acne scars, surgical and burn scars, stretch marks, benign skin lesions such as seborrhoeic keratoses and skin tags, and warts.

What Are the Benefits of Plasma Energy Treatment?

Plasma energy is a safe method used for skin regeneration and aesthetic correction.

  • It is a non-surgical method: it tightens and regenerates the skin without requiring surgical intervention. It is particularly useful in correcting the skin in the treatment of acne scars and scars

  • It has a rapid healing process: within a few days after application, the skin recovers itself. It is one of the biggest advantages of causing little damage to surrounding tissues.

  • No anaesthesia required: local anaesthetic creams are used during the application, no general anaesthesia is required.

  • It provides a natural appearance: it does not create an artificial image in the skin, it presents a natural healing effect.

  • The environment does not damage tissues: it only acts on the targeted area, maintaining healthy tissues.

  • It can be used in many skin problems: age-related spots, some benign skin lesions, can be used on various trace treatments and fine lines, or combined with other treatments. In selected patients, the eyelid is preferred for tightening the skin.

  • It is minimally invasive: it is a procedure that does not require bleeding, stitches, or cuts.
